I love the story behind this cake. A mom was worried about her daughter celebrating her first birthday away from home, at college in a different state. She reached out to a Facebook group of “bonus moms” for help. A beautiful soul in my neighborhood suggested me as a baker and offered to drive her daughter this cake as a surprise. I can’t tell you how much this made to day to see moms helping moms, supporting a tribe because they would want that for their own babies! It was such a blessing to be a part of this gift. It seriously made my whole week 🧡
